Day one was a great success. We visited Peticolas Brewing, Franconia, and Community Beer Company.

Michael Peticolas was very hospitable, taking the time to show us around and talk beer with us. Excellent product, great people.

Franconia was a cool setup. Wholly off the electrical grid, and a net producer of power from their solar panels and bio diesel conversion machines. Their beer is exponentially better fresh and on draft than what I have found in package in College Station.

Community. Ashley showed us a great time, a really cool operation and every thing was spotless. Ascension coffee porter may be my new favorite coffee porter, and their bourbon barrel aged scotch ale was delicious.
