Comments Off on Brewing up trouble with Bangkok’s rebel beer buffs

Too often we focus on the issues facing craft beer in our home market. It is beneficial to look at some of the struggles that craft beer is facing overseas.

Until 2013 I believe, it was illegal to homebrew in the state of Alabama. Even developed nations have archaic laws concerning brewing. Fun fact, Dale of Oskar Blues (Dales Pale Ale) was homebrewing in his bathtub while attending Auburn University (something, something war eagle, something, something).

Just remember this the next time that you complain about not being able to buy things like The Bruery or Russian River in Texas. It could be significantly worse.
